Right out of interior design college I signed on with the second largest privately owned company in Texas as a designer. Third day on the job I was flying on the company jet sitting across from the CFO to sample custom donuts! Dream job right? Heck yeah! Well, that corporate haven, due to my department being dissolved, eventually became a bit of a nightmare and in a matter of days I was moved from my desk as a creative guru to a windowless cubicle doing anything but creative work. Quickly I needed to make a change. And a change I made indeed!
